8. Recipients of your data and transfers

The personal data we collect from you, within the remit of ELSTAT competencies and processing operations under its responsibilities, are not transferred to non-EU countries or international organisations.

Under no circumstances will we share your personal data with third parties for the purposes of direct promotion of products or services.

In the context of specific processing operations (such as, for example, payment of employees, completion of a contract, etc.), your data may be transferred to third parties, such as the national bodies responsible for matters arising from the legislation in force (Independent Authority for Public Revenue, General Accounting Office, Single Social Security Entity, “Diavgeia” Platform, Office of the Commissioner of the Court of Auditors, TAXIS platform, etc.).This is the case only when required by law, contract or other basis for lawful processing. Furthermore, some of your data are shared on our website through, for example, the posting of administrative decisions appointing external collaborators, ranking lists of candidates, etc.

In cases where processors are used for some processing operations, i.e. third parties providing services to us and involved in the processing of personal data, they are bound to protect your data by the necessary data processing contracts and agreements. In these cases, your data are still stored on ELSTAT servers and kept securely. This means that no third party can further process your personal data unless they have been explicitly instructed to do so.

In addition, ELSTAT is bound by existing national and European legislation regarding the observance of statistical confidentiality.
