Cooperation with international organisations
ELSTAT, in the context of its competencies as the National Statistical Institute, cooperates, in addition to the ESS, with other international organisations as follows:

- Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
- International Monetary Fund (IMF),
- International Statistical Institute (ISI),
- International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS),

- World Health Organization (WHO), etc.
