ELSTAT convened the 5th User Conference on 10 December 2014.
In the context of its annual statistical work programme, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) has been conducting since 2010, on a yearly basis, a User Conference on its premises in Piraeus.
Users Conferences are attended by representatives of the public and private sector, academics and research institutes.
These conferences give ELSTAT the opportunity to gather comments and suggestions made by the users of its statistical data concerning the dissemination of statistical information, users’ access to statistical data and any shortcomings in the produced statistics.
Users Conferences help ELSTAT to draw useful conclusions on the areas of statistical production that need to be improved, in order to better fulfill the changing needs of users. Such conclusions are integrated in the annual and short-term statistical work programmes of ELSTAT.
