Access Application to Standardized Scientific Use Files

ELSTAT provides to research institutions and individual researchers conducting research or studies free access to standardized anonymized microdata of its statistical surveys which have been anonymized according to the anonymization criteria it has predetermined, from which it is theoretically possible to indirectly identify surveyed units.

Procedure for granting access to Scientific Use Files

To access Scientific Use Files, please follow the steps below:

1. Register on ELSTAT's website.
If you are already a registered user, proceed to the next step.

2. Login to ELSTAT's website.

3. To request access to Scientific Use Files, click here.

For the initial login, please enter your authentication codes and after completing your work, close the application form.

Please indicate in any report/study based on ELSTAT's data that the data source is ELSTAT.
